Happy Mother's Day mom.. i noe im qt bad, nv do anything special for u today. yes yes i always try to make an effort to do sumthing, bt it always escapes me in d end. haiz. anyway thx for being there for me thru out the past 16 odd years, putting up with my temper, my staying up late to play games, and my going out late! although we dun agree with each other on many issues, i must say u try to give in, even if it goes against ur instincts? oh well.. just wanna say thx a lot! =)
another lazy day for me today. did the design for OT sign for the whole morning.. draw till my eyes pain lah. d printed out map so blur, had to strain to draw the rivers or streams. qt nice actually, hope everyone will like it. watched sum cartoons.. had a slight headache. tried to do sum induction. only succeeded in doing qn 5, which i din noe how to do. bleah. went out in d afternoon, went causeway point, looked arnd d shops. saw one real huge "Remove before flight" tag.. wanted to get it, bt couldnt find it. wanted to go crystal jade kitchen to have dinner, bt too many ppl, so had to go food court. so pathetic rite?
aft dinner we went the state cemetery, where d soldiers who died during WWII are buried. So is Dr Benjamin Sheares. so sad dat place. so quiet. so solemn. thinking of those guys who gave their lives for S'pore so long ago. they were all abt 23,24. sharon saw a 19yr old guy though. walked right up to the memorial, where 24'000 names of dead soldiers are inscribed there. haiz. depressing thoughts then. are our little squabbles between frens, d things we hold dearest comparable to the sacrifices of the soldiers? seems like our preoccupations fall to insignificance in dat place.
