officially a campHA facilitator! just been to one of their camps this week monday to friday. it was a joint singapore-indonesia exchange camp. so we had sec sch kids from both countries coming together. it was great fun.. the locals quickly warmed up to the indonesians and were soon friends with each other. the interesting part was that there was a shopping trip down orchard road for the indonesians! imagine bringing 16kids down orchard road in tee shirt and shorts... haha! of coz there were the basic stuff; like kayaking, high elements, campfire etc. the campfire was really the highlight of the camp; everyone was so hyped up that the mood was constantly high and that made it all more fun. when it was time to say goodbye on friday everyone was crying and not wanting to go back at all.. some even cried after the campfire was over. i'm really glad my first camp turned out like this. had a good impression on me. so there comes next week when i'm attending another camp; the legendary leaders summit. involves 14 diff schs.. all the students are either student leaders or potential ones.. will be different from the other camps i suppose. fun fun!
